BYKKO is Australia’s first provider of electric bike-share systems. Based in Newcastle, the family-owned business develops and manages the bike hire terminals throughout the city. BYKKO boasts over 156 bicycle docks spread across 19 docking stations throughout the Newcastle CBD, Honeysuckle, Newcastle West, Wickham, The Junction and Bar Beach.
I was given the opportunity to create a design a shirt for the official launch campaign “200 Wheels 100 Smiles” in 2018. Integrating the wheel graphic into the logo as well as fading text gradients are a friendly nod to the motion of transport.
“We are brave. We like challenges. We want to change the way people move.”
